Job Title: Account Executive New Business, Selling to Technology Vendor Professionals
Location: Pune, India
Description:
This role is part of the Tech Industry sales team and reports to the regional sales manager, India. This sales representative has an assigned quota that requires generating and closing new business in India. He/she must work to develop and execute a territory plan that balances both proactive and reactive lead generation. For qualified prospects, the sales representative must conduct a needs analysis and demonstrate the value of Forrester to potential clients by addressing critical business issues.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve a sales quota in new business.
* Develop and close business independently by developing interest from selected target organizations that are currently not Forrester clients.
* Maintain an appropriate sales pipeline to achieve quota and keep pipeline updated in Forrester’s CRM system (Siebel).
* Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
* Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that our potential clients face.
* Work with research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.
Requirements:
* B.A. degree/MBA or equivalent experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to make cold calls on a daily basis
* Proven sales success.
* Proven experience in new business development, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies.
* Effective organization and time management skills.
* Team player.
* Fast learner and at ease with technology.
* Willingness to travel.
